Nick & Lindsay

Nick and Lindsay engagement session started off like any other engagement session. A threat of a rainstorm. After meeting Nick and Lindsay at a Lynbrook coffee shop to discuss their wedding I felt like we became friends that day only natural to text each other every so often about wedding ideas that come to mind and other funny things. Well, leading up to their engagement session included in their wedding package we were on weather watch the entire week as most photographer and brides are. We pushed up their session to earlier in the day, little did we know how hot it was going to be - also that the rain never came.

As myself and Lindsay were discussing all different types of engagement shoot location- when Vanderbilt Museum and Planetarium in Centerport was mentioned, I could tell this would be the spot. A nice mix of personalities for a great group of personalities. Open spaces with scene water views with nooks and gardens to have to yourself. Much like Nick and Lindsay who are funny and enjoy themselves and each other in a way that is so apparent the Vanderbilt Museum and Planetarium made all the sense in the world.

We shot their engagement session with an outfit change over the course of an hour. Many laughs and tossed around ideas for groomsmen's gifts that Nick was push was a sword which was kiboshed by Lindsay. Shame- I was hoping to take some epic shining knight photos of Nick on his wedding day.

Nick and Lindsay will be getting married in March of 2023- I cant wait to capture their beautiful day along with their laughs.
